About the Company

USA Golf Masters is a San Diego based company that was established in 2004 by Mr. Benjamin Jones who has been an avid golfer for over 50 years and has played in hundreds of golf tournaments throughout the Southern California region. Mr. Jones has used his extensive background in the sport combined with his entrepreneurial skills to help numerous foundations develop profitable golf tournament events by applying a few key principles. Along the way he noticed a lot of people had a problem with their putting due to a condition called “yips”.

The term yips is said to have been popularized by golf champions Tommy Armour and Sam Snead to explain the difficulties that led them to abandon tournament play. In describing the yips, golfers have used terms such as twitches, staggers, jitters and jerks. They are involuntary wrist spasms that occur most commonly when golfers are trying to putt, but can also affect people who play other sports. Mr. Jones spent years methodically developing a solution to this problem, which is how the Masters Putter came into existence. This revolutionary club design can help anyone gain an advantage on the putting green, whether they suffer from yips or not.

Meet the Founder

Many years ago, a golfer by the name of Sam Snead, was having difficulty putting and started putting side-saddle. Little did I realize a few years later, I would have the same problems as he was having. The term is called the “yips,” but the actual cause was by the inability to process information to the subconscious mind. It started me thinking, “If someone could develop a putter that would not only make it easier, but much more efficient, why not?”

Out of this, came the dream of developing putters that I call, USA Golf Masters putters. Dreams are nothing more than a vision, and the vision that I got was these putters that you are looking at today. These are the best putters that have ever been designed for putting. Once you have tried them and learned how to use them, you will never go back to traditional putting.
